William "Bill" D. Carmack

William (Bill) D. Carmack - Age 87, of Fenton Township, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones.

William was born on April 13, 1939, the son of James and Gladys (Firman) Carmack. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Lois Carmack; his stepchildren, Debbie Greshock, Bill and Sherry House, Denise and Dennis Maxheimer, Darlene Mishall, Deanna and Sean Woodruff: 14 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; 3 siblings; stepson, Tom House; and son in law, Steve Greshock.

He served in the Army Reserves for 8 years. Bill worked for General Motors and retired after 33 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, bingo, family game night, telling stories, coffee runs with his best buddy Mike, and most of all attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Bill will be remembered for the cartoons he drew of his family and friend's mishaps.
