William Lawrence Conley

Conley, William “Bill” Lawrence - Age 71, of Swartz Creek, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, with Pastor Frank Yount officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, October 31, 2025, at the funeral home.

Bill was born April 8, 1954, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Leon John and Barbara Louise (Konecny) Conley. He married Betty Ann Bogard on June 14, 1974. Bill worked for many years at General Motors as a Health and Safety Representative and was a proud member of U.A.W. Local 598.

He loved his Clydesdale horses, his farm, his tractor, and especially his family. Bill was a generous and giving man who performed many charitable acts for others without seeking recognition.

Surviving are: his wife, Betty Ann Conley; daughter, Alisha (Michael) Dankert; two grandchildren, Ryelle and Lydan Dankert; three sisters, Leila Baxter, Christina (Larry) Gutierrez, and Penny Hynson; and many nieces and nephews.

The family extends a special thank you to his devoted friends, Mike Grandstaff, Mike Dunsire, and Fred Wright.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Barbara Conley, and five siblings, Johnnie, Kelly, Tom, Pat, and Russell.
