WILLIAMS, William Frederick "Fred" - Age 92, of Linden, died July 4, 2014. Services will be held 3 PM Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad Street, Linden. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Linden VFW Post #4642. Mr. Williams was born on January 1, 1922 in Flint, the son of William and Mina (Huson) Williams. He graduated from Central High School, served in the U.S. Navy in WWII, graduated from GMI with an Industrial Engineering degree and worked for Buick as a General Supervisor retiring in 1977 after 40 years of service. He was a member of Tyne Valley Presbyterian Church, P.E.I. Canada; a life member of VFW Post #4642 and Local Masonic Order. Fred is survived by his wife, Charlotte; children, Diana Reynolds of AZ, Richard (Karen) Williams of FL, Patrick (Deborah) Williams of VA; daughter-in-law, Patricia Williams; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
