William "Bill" Everett GREEN

GREEN, William Everett "Bill" - Age 79, of Houghton Lake formerly of Fenton, died Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Friday, February 8, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St, Fenton, with Fr. David Harvey celebrating. Visitation will be held at the church Friday from 9:30 until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Lupus Society. Bill was born July 30, 1933 in Osceola Township, the son of William Everett and Pauline Doris (Robinson) Green. He married Carol Ann Hogan April 13, 1952. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Carol Ann; 3 children, Debbie and husband Larry Abbey of Grand Haven, Terri and husband Oliver Hackney of Linden, and Jim Green of Merritt; mother, Virginia Hogan of Linden; 5 grandchildren, Rachel and husband Jason Cotton, Joe and wife Candace Abbey, Ryan, Jonathan, and Drew Hackney; 5 great grandchildren, Kyler, Brady, Ayden, RJ, and Fenner; sister, Linda and husband Vic Anderson of Port Orange, FL; brother-in-law, Dan and wife Ann Hogan of Sebring, FL; sister-in-law, Kathy and husband Jerry Lyles of Linden; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Green February 5, 2007; his parents; nephew, John Anderson; and 2 nieces, Leslie and Suzanne Anderson.
