William Gregory Teer

Teer, William Gregory - age 78 of Grand Blanc, passed away on July 31, 2026 at his home, with his wife by his side, after a long and resilient battle with illness. In accordance with Greg's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of his life will be held.

Greg was born on July 13, 1948 in Flint, Michigan to the late Jay and Leslie (Davis) Teer. He married Kathleen Teer in 1973, and she remained the light of his life from that day forward. He graduated from Michigan Technological University with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. He retired from Chrysler in Auburn Hills after 30 years’ employment where he was a Senior Engineer specializing in transmissions.

He was meticulous with attention to detail in all aspects of his life, and approached life with an unwavering work ethic, and a deep sense of responsibility. His approach to life was paired with wit and humor. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially spending time on the water. Boating and fishing brought him peace and happiness, and he cherished the memories made with family and friends. There was not a project that he wouldn’t methodically tackle.

He is survived by Kathleen Ann Teer of Grand Blanc, Michigan. His daughters Sarah (Joel) Elizabeth Joslin and Marcy (Caleb) Lynn Goss; his sister Kimberly Bargy; his grandchildren Emersyn, Mason and Brayden; his beloved dog and constant companion, Piper; along with his brothers(sisters)-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Leslie Teer; his brother David and sister Christina.
