William "Bill" JACOB

JACOB, William "Bill" - Age 63, of Gaines, died unexpectedly, Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 28, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, MI. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00PM-8:00PM, with a Rosary at 7:00PM. Bill was born December 28, 1949 in Detroit, MI, the son of William Christian Jacob Sr. and Claire (Stein) Jacob. Bill has resided in Gaines where he was a construction worker. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved to spend time cutting wood and taking care of his home on the farm. Surviving are: wife, Rene'; step-sons Michael and Christopher Burghardt, sister Joann (Dan) Matthews, sister Reen Jacob and brother Brian Jacob. He was preceded in death by his mother, Claire Jacob and Father William Jacob Sr,. He had many special friends and neighbors that he spent his life with.
