McDONALD, William "Bill" James Jr. - Age 73, of Lapeer, Michigan, died August 17, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be held 1PM Friday, August 21, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Pastor Ed Gates officiating. Visitation will be held 1PM - 8PM Thursday and 11AM until time of service Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Boy Scouts of America, D. Bar A. Ranch of Metamora. Bill was born in Detroit, Michigan, on February 19, 1942 the son of William J. and Estelle (Habdas) McDonald Sr. He married the love of his life, Connie Ann Blevins in Brown City, Michigan on June 22, 1962. Bill enjoyed riding his bicycle in many charity events, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was always the first one there for work or play and in time of need. Mr. McDonald retired from G.M. Pontiac Motor Division with 30 years of service and a member of Believers Fellowship Church. Surviving are: wife of 53 years, Connie of Lapeer, Michigan; children, Mark (Renee) McDonald of Columbiaville, Sherry (Rich) Knowlton of Highland, William McDonald III of Durand, Lisa (Marc) Brannon of Davison; grandchildren, William (Casey) McDonald IV, Mark Jr.(Crystal), Randall, Megan (Xavier), Blake (Tanya), Chad, Kory, Ashtyn, Taylor, Hannah, Brendan, Hayden, McKenna; great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Khloe, Brianna, Kotlon, Thorin and Zoey. Bill is also survived by his brother Ray and special relatives; Bob (Nancy) Giza, Larry (Sue) Blevins of AL; special friends, Charlie, Robby, Chuck, John, Don, Carl, Kathy, Katie, Taylor Konner and Somer.
