ETHRIDGE, Willis Gene Sr. - age 74, of Linden, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Monday. Mr. Ethridge was born January 5, 1939 in Crane, Missouri, the son of Alvey and Martha (Long) Ethridge. He married Louella Griffith on January 11, 1958. He retired from General Motors after 34 years of service. Willis like country music and played the guitar. He enjoyed bowling and golf. He is survived by his wife, Louella; children, Martha, Elaine, Melissa, Willis Jr.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Alvey Jr., Walter, Nancy, Beverly, Shirley, Carol, Cecil, and David.
