Wilma Lou Kapp

Kapp, Wilma Lou - Age 100, of Flint Township, passed away March 23, 2026. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, March 27, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Visitation will be held 12:30 PM - 2 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 402 S Ballenger Hwy, Flint, MI 48532. Wilma was born July 13, 1925 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Oscar and Ruth (Davis) Ortner. She married Francis Leroy Kapp on February 23, 1946 in Flint and he preceded her in death on October 23, 1988. Wilma worked at Dr. Richard Lundeen Office for many years as a Medical Receptionist. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and enjoyed sewing and reading. Surviving are: son, James (Trudy) Kapp; two daughters, Marilyn (Russell) Biefer and Marianna (Daniel) Fiedor; five grandchildren, James (Kristy) Kapp, Jr., Jennifer (David) VanWormer, Aaron (Kelsey) Biefer, Amanda (Brian) Smith, Brent (Amber Schultz) Fiedor; four great-grandchildren, Jacob Kapp, Waelynn and Angus Biefer, and Fiona Smith; brother, Gene Ortner; sister, Mary Ellen (Lewis) Passmore; four nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Oscar and Ruth Ellen Ortner, and her husband, Francis Leroy Kapp. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of the Medical Team Hospice and the staff at Woodhaven Senior Community for their love and support.
