Wilma was born on October 27, 1927, in Flint, Michigan, to William and Pearl (Collins) Willis. She graduated from Flint Central High School in 1946. On July 10, 1948, she married the love of her life, John H. "Jack" MacInnes, in Flint. Together they built a life centered on family, devotion, and treasured memories. Jack preceded her in death on November 5, 2012.
Wilma retired from Flint Box Makers after many years of dedicated service. She was a proud member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, El Said Court No. 28. While she valued her work and community involvement, nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her family.
She especially loved summers filled with laughter, family gatherings, and watching her grandchildren enjoy countless hours in the pool. Camping trips to Ludington in the family motor home created memories that she cherished throughout her life. In 2001, Wilma fulfilled a lifelong dream by traveling to Hawaii, a destination that had long been on her bucket list.
Wilma will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared so freely with those around her. Her greatest legacy is the family she nurtured and the many happy memories she created for them.
She is survived by her children, John H. (Donna) MacInnes, Jr., Sharon (John) Fisher, and Marie Sturm; grandchildren, Sean (Julia) MacInnes, Wendy (Greg) Cook, Stacey Sturm, and Kelsey MacInnes; four great-grandchildren, Miles, and Henry Cook, Charles and Zoe Springer; special friends, Carmen Mowery and Vivian Van Norwick.
