Wyatt Robert-James Duncan Jr.

Our precious baby boy, Wyatt Robert-James Duncan Jr, aged 1 month, sadly passed away on the morning of August 11, 2025. Wyatt Jr was born on July 9, 2025 at 12:45 a.m. to Destiny Lynn Jones and Wyatt James Duncan Sr. He filled the lives of his family with so much love and joy, even in his short time with us. We will always cherish his sweet smile, the silly faces he would make, and the way he loved to snuggle. Wyatt Jr was such a happy little boy. He had many special nicknames including Witty, Wylie, Baby Wyatt Jr, Wy-Wy, and Little Red (because of his red hair) and was part of a special "club" made up of his grandfather and his younger uncles. He was, and still is, so deeply loved by his family. The pain of this loss is absolutely immeasurable. Wyatt will forever be loved and missed and will always live in the hearts of his family and all of those who loved him. Wyatt Jr is survived by his parents; Destiny and Wyatt Sr, grandparents; Holli and Nick Fernandez, Guy Jones, Kim Jones, June and Steven Duncan, aunts; Emily and Madelynn Fernandez, Hailey Duncan, Katie Avitts, Tamara Perkins and Candy Hooven, Marti Jones, Sara (Matt) Allen, uncles; Nicholas and Nathaniel Fernandez, Dylan Duncan, Kyle (Courtney) Jones, Matthew, Christopher, and Jonathon Jamison, Malachi Bills, Aaron and Joven Fernandez, Christopher (Amylynne) Merrow, Steven (Kira) Duncan Jr, Daniel Merrow, great grandparents; Diane and Robert Bills, Troy and Tiffany Jamison, June (Sam) Cain, Tina Fernandez, great-great grandmother Aline (GG) Engelke, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Kimberley Degeler and aunt, Amber Varner. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday, August 16 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, with a viewing at 10 AM. At 12:30 PM there will be a graveside service and burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Owosso followed by a luncheon at St. John's United Church of Christ.
