Yancey Thomas Perrault

Yancey “Toad” Perrault, age 72, of Gaines, passed away on March 4, 2026, at his home. Yancey was born in June 1953 in Flint to the late Alfred and Helen Perrault of Flint, MI. He graduated from Kearsley High School class of 1971. Yancey retired from General Motors after 35 years of service at Flint Metal Center where he worked as a welder. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars and riding motorcycles.

Beloved husband of Jane (Vartyak) (married August 8, 1980 in Flint); step-father of Lance (Amy) Shinabarger, Jeremy (Amanda) Perrault and father of Tonya (Kelly) Blasingain; brother to Monica Perrault, Debra (Don) Fader, Mark (Karen) Perrault, and Chris (Lisa) Perrault; proud grandfather of Kaitlyn, Addeline, Isabella, Walker, Brody, Brett, Chase, and Dalton Blasingain.

A private celebration of life for family will be announced at a later date.
