Zachery Wade Baxter

Zachery Wade Baxter of Grand Blanc, born July 25, 1999, passed away suddenly on March 12, 2026.

There will be visitation at Sharp Funeral Homes, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc, from 4pm-8pm on March 17th, with a rosary service at 6pm. Funeral services will be held on March 18th, 2026 at 10am, with visitation from 9am until the time of service at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11824 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI 48439, where Zachery and Jessica are members. Father Joseph Krupp officiating.

Zachery was the son of Dylan and Kristina Baxter of Davison. He graduated from Davison High School and went on to attend West Virginia University. He loved being a Mountaineer. Zachery married Jessica Kosten on August 25, 2023. Zach and Jessica were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Abigail Ann, on December 6, 2025.

Zachery is survived by his wife Jessica Baxter and daughter Abigail Ann; Parents, Dylan and Kristina Baxter; his sisters Aleena (Brian) Markowicz and Briana (Zachary) Phelps; Niece Makinlee Mae and nephew Acre Cash. He is also survived by his grandmothers Janice Garcia and Judy Emery, along with many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his Grandfathers Byron Baxter, Louis Appolonia, and George Emery.

Zachery loved God, loved his family, and loved nature. He was always ready for a game of Euchre or playing pickleball. He was a proud Eagle Scout, a black belt in Tang So Do, loved running cross country and playing baseball. He was so loved and will be a missing piece of hearts forever. We take comfort knowing he is peacefully in the arms of Jesus.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations for a trust fund to be set up for Abigail Ann Baxter, personal code E2S-T7P.
