BECKWITH, Agnes Helen -- Age 91, of Flint, died March 9, 2012 at Durand Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral Mass will celebrated 1 PM Monday, March 12 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G-3139 Hogarth, Flint, Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Interment in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be 1-9 PM Sunday with a 6 PM Rosary at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, and 12 Noon Monday until the time of mass at 1 PM Monday. Agnes was born August 22, 1920 in Flint the daughter of Alfred and Catherine (Knoble) Sargent. She was a resident of Flint most of her life. She married Robert Beckwith in June of 1941 in Swartz Creek. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Surviving are: husband Robert; daughter, Mary Catherine Hayes of Tawas; daughter-in-law, Beverly Jean Beckwith of Holland, MI; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jean Steel; three nieces. She was preceded in death by son Alfred in 1981; grandson Robert III in 1983; brother William Sargent; son Robert in 2007; son-in-law David Hayes in 2010.
