Alyssa Syphrett

SYPHRETT, Alyssa Ann - age 30, of Fenton, passed away suddenly October 15, 2019 by taking her own life after struggling for many years with mental illness. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 12-3 PM, with lunch served at 12:30 PM Friday, October 25, 2019 at Bakers of Milford Restaurant, 2025 S Milford Rd, Milford, MI 48381. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. In lieu of flowers, a donation to NAMI, or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, in Alyssa's name, would be appreciated.

Alyssa was born July 25, 1989 in Detroit the daughter of John D. and Barbara R.(Yabrove) Syphrett. She took classes at Mott Community College and the Flint Institute of Arts. Alyssa had a beautiful soul. She was creative, and had a huge artistic talent. She had a love of birds, a wonderful sense of humor, and a quick wit. Alyssa expressed herself through her art. She painted, using a variety of media, and designed clay beads for her Mom to use in her jewelry. Alyssa was her happiest spending time with her cockatiels, creating in her art studio, kayaking, and taking hikes in the park. She will be missed more than words can say, by all who knew, and loved her.

Surviving are: parents, John and Barbara Syphrett; brother,Jeremy (Danielle) Syphrett; Sister, Erika Syphrett; grandmother, Pearl Moss; nephews, Christian and Jordan.
