Connie Clark

CLARK, Connie Sue - Age 71, of Flushing., died Saturday July 25, 2020. A celebration of life will be held 3PM Saturday, November 20, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 2:30 PM until time of service on Saturday.  In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to American Cancer Society or Hurley Children's Hospital. Connie was born December 7, 1948 in West Van Lear, Kentucky, the daughter of Joseph and Dolores (Jones) Varner. She married Carl Clark on May 6, 1967. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her grandson and attending his ball games. Connie also enjoyed casino trips with close friends and family and her flower gardens. Surviving are: husband of 53 years, Carl Clark of Flushing; daughter, Carla (Sam) Lazar of Swartz Creek; son, Richard Clark of Flint Twp.; grandson, Richard Clark II of Flint Twp., brother, Mike (Renee) Varner of Linden; sister, Lovena "Beany" (Ron) Ramberg of Swartz Creek; many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jerry Varner; niece, Jennifer Varner. A special thank you to all Hurley hero's for the excellent care.
