Cora Wilson

WILSON, Cora "Faye" - Age 84, of Flint, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc (A live stream of the service will be available on Faye's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com).  Pastor Dan Blankenship officiating.  Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 4-8 PM and Saturday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to Carriage Town Ministries, 605 Garland St, Flint, MI 48503.

Faye was born May 31, 1938 in Page, VA, the daughter of Dow and Hannah (Arwood) Hale.  She was a graduate of Garden High School in Garden Creek, VA.  She married Winifred "Dean" Wilson August 16, 1957 in Lebanon, VA and he preceded her in death March 24, 2016.  She had resided in Flint since 1957 coming from Page, VA.  Faye was a member of Crossroads Temple Church of God.  She enjoyed gardening, baking, canning, helping others and her church ministry.

Surviving are: her sons, Winifred Dean "Wyn" (Gayle) Wilson, Jr. of Lansing and Jeffrey S. (LaVange) Wilson of Indianapolis, IN; Toni (Paul) Cotti of Grand Prairie, TX and Donna Wilson of San Francisco, CA; grandchildren, Nathan (Anju) Wilson, Jonathan (Casey) Wilson, Andrew (Faith) Bartley, Luke (Madisyn) Wilson, Jaina (Jerry) Wallen, Joshua (Bianca) Lane and Benjamin Lane;  great grandchildren, Grace, Tristan, Fiona, Alexis, Rhys, Cameron, Gabriel, Jentzen, Elena and Amelia; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; great grandson, David Michael Wilson; and many brothers and sisters. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
