Dale Beardslee

BEARDSLEE, Dale Edward - Age 69, of Unionville, formerly of Curran and Grand Blanc, died Saturday, July 4, 2020. Funeral service will take place 1 PM, Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Rev. J.T. Mabe will officiate with burial to follow in Crestwood Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will take place from 11 AM until the time of service Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Lennon Lions Club or Vadavilla Adult Foster Care in Unionville, Michigan. Dale was born on April 28, 1951, in Byron, the son of Lester and Ruby (Shaw) Beardslee. He graduated from Swartz Creek High School, class of 1970. Dale worked for 34 years with General Motors UAW Local 659 until his retirement in 2006. He and Patrice Barrett were united in marriage on July 22, 1972 in Swartz Creek. Dale was a member of the Rankin and Lennon Lions Club and volunteered for the Mundy Township Fire Department. He is survived by his 5 children, James (Jennifer) Beardslee, Gary Beardslee, Allen Beardslee, Vickie (Gabe) Garfield, and Mark (Sarah) Beardslee; and 8 grandchildren, Christopher Wilson, Conner Beardslee, Ian Beardslee, Jessica Gordon, Rachel Beardslee, Mariah Beardslee, Austin Beardslee and Katlynn Garfield. Dale was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patrice; parents, Lester and Ruby Beardslee; and brother, Daniel Beardslee.
