Dennis Nussle

Nussle, Dennis Conrad- age 84 passed away on June 28, 2020. A celebration of his life will be held graveside at Fairview Cemetery in Linden at 10am on Friday, July 3rd. Virtual arrangements will be made so that everyone may comfortably attend. A luncheon will immediately follow at the Linden Hotel. Dennis was born October 27, 1935 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, the son of Paul and Ann (Ursuliak). His family moved to Vancouver and his youth was filled with vivid stories of rugby, running away with the circus, skiing, being a lumber jack on Vancouver Island, driving a tugboat, and commercial fishing. He moved to Michigan and trained to be a kitchen and bath contractor for the JL Hudson Company. He later owned and operated Creative Kitchens in Howell for over 30 years where he was active with the Chamber of Commerce and initiated a yearly clean-up of the downtown area. He was a Jehovah’s Witness for over 50 years and was an active member in the Kingdom Hall in Howell. Upon retirement, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, attending car shows with his 55 Mercury, attending meetings at the Kingdom Hall and AA, beekeeping and attending auctions. Surviving are: brother Dick (Sue) Nussle; three children, Steven (Elsa) Nussle, Linda (TK) Kramer, and Katrina Nussle; stepchildren, David (Shonda) O’Berry, Noel (Shelley) Anderson, and Gina (Chris) Evans; grandchildren, Joshua (Kari) Nussle, Jacob Nussle, Nicole Nussle, Sarah Nussle, Theo Kramer, Lincoln Kramer, Jeremy (Austin) O’Berry, Kennedy Anderson, Alexandria Anderson, Maddee (Jon) Forster, Carson Render, and Emerson Render; great-grandsons, Owen Nussle and Finn O’Berry. He was preceded in death by: his son, David Nussle; wife, Sharon Nussle; brother, Ron Nussle; and his parents. Special thanks to June and Pratima of Brighton Davita and Dr. James Hayner.
