Dolores "Cookie" Sieradzki

SIERADZKI, Dolores M. "Cookie" - age 88, of Fenton, died January 9, 2021. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, January 15, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, MI 48430 with Rev. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. A live stream of the mass is available on her obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. A rosary will be prayed approximately 10:30 AM Friday at the church. Visitation will be held 4:00 - 8 :00 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. SIilver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. John Chapel Building Fund. Cookie was born August 3, 1932 in Detroit, the daughter of Ludwik and Zofia (Krupa) Sniechowski. She married Frederick J. Sieradzki, Jr. on July 26, 1952 and he preceded her in death on July 15, 2019. She was a longtime member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where she and her husband were among the first Eucharistic Ministers and Lectors at the church. Cookie taught Religious Education for 11 years and worked along side her husband, Fred with St. Vincent de Paul for 32 years. Cookie was best know as a leader of a prayer group for over 37 years. She was not only a mother to her children but she mothered many in need throughout the years. Surviving are:  children, Nicholas David (Lynn) Sieradzki, Alan "Skip" A. (Dianna) Sieradzki, and Cynthia M. Smith; grandchildren, Ashley, Frederick IV, Sarah, Nick Jr., Nathanael, Alan A. Jr., Jessica, Ryan, Kyle, and Owen; and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, four siblings; son, Frederick J. Sieradzki III and grandson, Justin Smith. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
