Ellen GRANBUSH

Granbush, Ellen Carol, age 77, of Holly formerly of Grand Blanc, passed away, Saturday June 16, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Home, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint, MI. Pastor John Lewis officiating. Burial following the service at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 2:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday and 10:00AM until time of service Wednesday. Mrs. Granbush was born December 23, 1934 in Flint, the daughter of the late Timothy and Eve (Mercier) Clark. She married Donald D. Granbush June 11, 1955 in Grand Blanc. Ellen, along with her husband, owned and operated the Abode Motel on Fenton Road. She was an artist and a teacher, belonging to Paint and Pallet, the Greater Flint and Grand Blanc Art Guild, and was an associate member of the University of Michigan Art Guild. Ellen was also the office manager for Borneman and Peterson Screw Machine Products for 12 years. Surviving are: husband of 57 years, Donald D. Granbush of Holly; daughter, Eve"Evie" (Dean) Caldwell of Grand Blanc; son, Bob Granbush of NJ;grandchildren, Joshua (Valarie) Caldwell of Flint, Jacob, Joseph, Timothy Caldwell all of Grand Blanc, and Tiffany Granbush of Fenton; 8 great-grandchildren; special friend Cindy Alkhafagi and numerous cousins.
