Herman Blanck

BLANCK, Herman Carl - age 82, of Flint Township, died June 23, 2022. The family will receive friends from 4 PM - 8 PM Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Interment will be held 9 AM Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family. Herman was born in Flint, MI, the son of Charles H. and Myrtle (Barker) Blanck. He married Ellen Jean Riness on February 21, 1970 and she preceded him in death on December 12, 2018. Herman was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked in business form sales for Perry Printing and F.P. Horak. Surviving are: son, Mark Blanck of Flint Township; daughter, Karen Blanck of Battle Creek; twin brother, Harvey (Janice) Blanck; two sisters. Sharon (Fred) Boettge and Cathy Blanck; many nieces and nephews. Herman was preceded in death by: his parents; wife; and two sisters, Virginia Blanck and Marie Husby.
