Jean Mehrens

MEHRENS, Jean Marie -- Age 79, of Flint Township, died December 2, 2019.  Private family services will be held with burial at Bendle Cemetery. Arrangements  by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.  Those desiring may make contributions to Humane Society of Genesee County.

Jean was born June 2, 1940 in Detroit the daughter of Emil S. and Taimi M. (Wuori) Lahti.  She married George Mehrens on October 14, 1961. She loved to bake, cook, shop and spend time with family and friends.

She is survived by husband George; 3 children, Marcia (Mark) Davis of Swartz Creek, Sandra (Tom) Ziebold of Hartland, Jared (Jessica) Mehrens of Sterling Ct; 7 grandchildren, James Davis, Jenna (Blake) Stephens, Jessica Davis, Marcus Ziebold, Mitchell Ziebold, Alex Mehrens and Ava Mehrens; siblings, Martin (Carol) Lahti, Margaret (Mike) Laurin; and many nieces and nephews.
