Longtime resident of Livingston County she moved to Howell from Detroit in 1970. Jeanie made many friends while working for 12 years at then McPherson Hospital of Howell and continued many of those friendships after leaving the position.

Her interests were many and varied. Besides spending time entertaining with family and friends she enjoyed being outside in her gardens, maintaining flowers, vegetables and herbs. She was an avid reader always interested in new things. Jeanie was an advocate of continuing adult education and enjoyed meeting others in classes and discussion groups who shared the same passion. Also she enjoyed cooking and baking specialty breads for all to enjoy. Jeanie enjoyed art and music of all genres but truly appreciated live jazz music in intimate settings.

She always had the door open for family and friends and welcomed whatever they were stopping by for, whether it be just to say hi, lively conversation, advice, work on a project, or if you were lucky enough to enjoy one of her wonderful meals.

She was truly a warm sincere Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother and Friend to all who were a part of her life.

Jeanie was loved and cherished by many. She will be missed and fondly remembered.
