Jentery Michael Farmer

FARMER, Jentery Michael, age 27, of Swartz Creek passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, April 29 at Central Church of Nazarene, 1261 W. Bristol Rd., Flint. The family will receive friends 5-9 PM Tuesday, April 27, 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Wednesday, April 28 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek and from 12-1 PM Thursday, April 29 at the church. Contributions in his memory may be made to YMCA Camp Copneconic, 10407 North Fenton Road, Fenton, Michigan 48430, or the Swartz Creek Fire Department. Jentery was a graduate of Swartz Creek High School. He was a Special Events and Business Development Manager for John P. O'Sullivan Distributing, Inc. Jentery loved people and made everyone he met feel special. Jentery loved serving his Swartz Creek community and served on the Swartz Creek City Council, the City of Swartz Creek Planning Commission and served on the Swartz Creek Hometown Days committee. He was actively involved at the YMCA Camp Copneconic in Fenton. He gave blood to the American Red Cross frequently, every chance he could. Jentery loved learning the art of beekeeping with his Papa Larry. Often referred to as an old soul, he enjoyed his weekly card games, spending time at the cigar lounge, and hosting his friends and family at his home, and he never missed a family gathering. Jentery is survived by his mother, Stephanie Skinner; dad, Jentery (Stacey) Farmer; dad, Jim (Linnzi Miller) Skinner; sisters, Ally, Rachael, and Emma Skinner; brothers, Tristan Farmer and Owen Farmer; grandparents, Dennis (Toni) Lipa, Ann (Larry) Hunt, Carl (Debbie) Farmer, Jim (Sue) Skinner, Sandy Morgan; great-grandmother, Carole Ramberg; his beloved dog, Gabby; step siblings; Rae, Jay, and Bennett, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
