John Miller

May 11, 1949 — October 7, 2019

MILLER, John Edward - Age 70, of Fenton, passed away Monday, October 7, 2019. A Memorial Service will be 1 PM Monday October 14, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Road, Flint.  Pastor Rob Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be 11 AM until the time of service Monday. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Adopt-A-Pet of Fenton.

John was born May 11, 1949 in Beeville, TX, the son of David Maurice and Dorothy Virginia (Feenstra) Miller.  He married Linda K. Kivesh in Grand Blanc on April 18, 1980. John graduated from Midland High School and later attended Ferris State University. He was employed as a Supervisor with GM for 48 years. John loved to go camping with his wife Linda.

Surviving are: his beloved wife of 39 years, Linda; children, Scott (Tracy) Miller, Jana (Scott) Forgach; grandchildren, Jarad, Joli, Evan, Rowan; siblings, David (Carol) Miller, Katherine (Dale) Filholm; dear friend, Bob Walters; beloved pets, Koda, Jezzi, and Autumn.

John was preceded in death by: his parents; siblings, Dennis Hickerson, Richard Hickerson, and Dorothy Elizabeth Miller. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
