Jon Anderson

ANDERSON, Jon McKay - Age 69, of Fenton, died Wednesday, June 10, 2020. Memorial service will take place 1 PM, Monday, July 13, 2020 at Fenton United Methodist Church. Pastor Jeffrey Jaggers will officiate. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Jon was born on February 11, 1951, in Flint the son of Lowell and Ruth (McKay) Anderson. He graduated from Fenton High School, class of 1969. Jon attended Marquette University, achieving his Bachelor's Degree. He worked as a sports broadcaster for much of his career. Jon was a member of the Fenton United Methodist Church. He was an avid sportsman, cheering for his favorite team the University of Michigan and Fenton Schools.

He is survived by his sister, Jinny (Grant) Belinger; 3 nieces, Erin (Chad) Goossen, Brynne (Kenny) Belinger-Rogers and Stephanie (Ryan) McMunigal; 8 grandnieces and grandnephews; and aunt, Marion Cook. Jon was preceded in death by his parents Lowell and Ruth Anderson.
