Leah Beers

BEERS, Leah Marjorie - age 89, of Gaines, MI passed away July 31, 2020. The family plans a memorial service at a later time. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad Street, Linden. Leah was born June 14, 1931 in Flint, daughter of Otis and Margaret Louise (Butzler) Beers. She was a 1949 graduate of Gaines High School and she worked as a caregiver in the healthcare industry. Leah spent her life taking care of other people. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and embroidery. She is survived by her sister, Elsabeth F. Chojnowski of Gaines; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Clyde G. Beers and Homer F. Beers; and brother in law, Edward J. Chojnowski. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
