Lois Durish

DURISH, Lois Jean - Age 79, of Swartz Creek, passed away and joined her husband, Robert on February 27, 2021. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, March 4, 2021 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Visitation will be held 1-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miler Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek and from 10AM until the time of Mass Thursday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Lois was born June 14, 1941 in Flint, the daughter of Paul and Leona (Merrill) Spaniola. She retired from Swartz Creek Schools after many years of service. Lois was craft savvy. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Her family was everything to her. She always made sure they were taken care of first. She is survived by her children, Anthony (Marcia) Durish, Robert (Laura) Durish II and Juliana (James) DeMarco; grandchildren, Jennifer (Rocky), Amanda (Scott), Jessica (Jared), Sarah (Kyle), Jackie (Jason), Nicholas (Melissa), Josie (Dylan), Kristian, Jacob, Phil, and Abby; 11 great-grandchildren; six siblings.
