Louis Brown

Brown, Louis Eugene - Age 84, of Flint, died April 4, 2020. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Louis was born June 29, 1935 in Lapeer, the son of Gordon and Marion (Hodge) Brown. He married Rowena Miller in Carson City, NV. on August 4, 1956. She preceded him in death on June 23, 2007. Louis proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and he was also quite the handyman. Louis retired from General Motors Truck and Bus with 30 years of service. He also worked for the State Of Michigan as a corrections officer for 9 years. Louis is survived by 5 children, daughters, Melinda (David) Piersall of Flint, Rebekah Herington of Flint, sons, David (Sue) Brown of Flint, Danyel (Trish) Brown of Flint, Bryan Brown of Hale; 25 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Ludwig of Lum; brother, Douglas (Alyce) Brown of Grand Rapids; many nieces and nephews.
