Lynn Beck

Beck, Lynn Keith- Age 86, passed away June 16, 2022. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at North Baptist Church, 4004 Lennon Road, Flint. Pastor Hal Burkholder will officiate. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the North Baptist Church. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.

Lynn Keith Beck was born to William and Nettie Beck on November 9, 1935 in Missouri.  He was raised and lived his entire life in Genesee County. He graduated from Goodrich High School in 1953, and from Michigan State University with a Masters Degree.  Lynn retired from Flint Community Schools after 35 years, he had been a teacher, Community School Director and administrator. He was a member of North Baptist Church.

Lynn was married to Marlene Allen on 9/20/1958.  She preceded him in death on 6/12/93.  He married Dona Rae Grenier on 2/11/95.

Lynn is survived by wife, Dona Rae, his children: Cindy (Garry) Johns and Todd (Tina) Beck, grandchildren: Joshua Johns, Erin (Steve) Abbott, Corinna Johns, Lorena Johns, great-grandchildren: Silas Abbott and Aiden Abbott. Sisters: Ella Fae Beck, Sondra Doshier. Step-children: Andrew (Laura) Grenier and Erin Beth (Bill) Bolander, Step Grandchildren: Aaron Grenier, Matthew Grenier, Abby Simonson, Benjamin Bolander, Joseph (Sonia) Bolander, step great-grandchild: Eliana Bolander.

Lynn is preceded in death by his sister Norma Lou Tucker.
