Mary Dawson

Dawson, Mary Jane - Age 82, of  Swartz Creek, died June 5, 2021. No services will be held. Arrangements are being handled by  Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel,  8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Mary Jane was born January 23, 1939 in Empire, Ohio, the daughter of Leslie Edward Tice and Eula Mae (Little) Tice. She had worked for McLaren Hospital for 26 years in Housekeeping and Central Processing. retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Swartz Creek VFW Auxiliary and the Durand Eagles Auxiliary.  Surviving are:  three children, Virginia Snedeker of Edinburg, PA, Debra (Bill) Rogers of Amsterdam, NY, Dorman (Lisa) Dawson of Swartz Creek; son-in-law Tom Staley;  many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Elmer (Connie) Tice, Vicki (Elbert) Cline, Leslie (Gene) McCartney; Karen (Edmund) Wszeborowski; sister-in-law Deborah Tice;  many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Lester Tice; sister Roberta Hupp; brother James "Jimmy" Tice; brother Robert "Bobby" Tice; brother Ronald Tice; sister Sylvia Channels; son Charles Robertson; son Gregory Robertson; daughter, Sherri Staley; son-in-law Ron Snedeker.
