Myra C. HENRY

November 7, 1908 — February 27, 2013

HENRY, Myra C. age 104, of Fenton, died February 27, 2013 at Crestmont Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home, Fenton Chapel at 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Pastor Eric Stewart officiating. Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 AM until the time of service Saturday. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Myra's name to Carriage Town Ministries or a charity of your choice. Myra was born November 7, 1908 in a log home in Lapeer County, MI, the daughter of John and Eva (Blocher) Kile. Myra became a certified nurse's attendant in 1930 after training at Goodrich General Hospital. Afterward she worked at the Northville, MI Children's TB Sanatorium. Myra married Mervin W. Henry on September 30, 1933 in Flint, MI and became a homemaker. They lived in the Linden area most of their 50 years of marriage where they became members of the Linden Community Baptist Church. Myra is survived by son Russell and wife, Vicki of Grand Blanc; daughter-in-law Phyllis Henry of Fenton; 1 grandson Tom Henry; 4 granddaughters, Susan (Steve) Liley, Dianna (Mike) Fuller, Jill Henry, Emily (Eric) Liversedge; 9 great grandchildren, Shaun Henry, Shannon Scott, Lauren and Katelyn Liley, Kailey, Brendan and Andrew Fuller, Eva, Benson, and Abraham Liversedge; 3 great great grandchildren, Kylee and Quinn Henry and Caitlyn Scott and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband Mervin (1983), son Charles (2002), brothers, Clare, Homer and twin brother Myron, sisters, Bertha Seeley, Edna Clark and Minnie Mathews.Friends may share on-line condolences with the family at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
