Nora Johnson

JOHNSON, Nora Yvonne - Age 90, of Punta Gorda, formerly of Gaines and Swartz Creek, died Friday July 24, 2020. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Nora was born November 19, 1929 in Burton, the daughter of Harold and Helen (Alexander) Wilber. She married Larry Johnson just out of high school and resided in Gaines. Nora graduated form Bendle High School class of 1948. Nora spent her last several years with her love Robert Evans and resided in Florida. She drove school bus for Swartz Creek for 34 years and still talked about 'her kids' at age 90. She loved crocheting, bingo, sewing, and looking at family photos. She especially loved her grandchildren and adored her great and great great grand babies. She leaves behind three daughters, Arlene of AZ, Linda (Tom) of FL and Cher (Rick) of MI; seven grandchildren, Heidi, Suzanne, Christopher, Jason, Debbie, Kevin and Troy. Nora is also survived by her several great and great great grandchildren. She was a foster parent to Tom Johnson and had many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry; Robert "Bobby" Evans; brothers, James and Trevoy and sister Barbara.
