LUCUS, Raymond Dural - 86, of Grand Blanc Township, passed away November 20, 2020. Private family services will be held with entombment at Flint Memorial Park, Mt Morris. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Twp. Raymond was born October 26, 1934 in Dexter, MO the son of Raymond L. and Laura E. (Grim) Lucus. He was a graduate of Central High School. He served in the National Guard for 10 years, serving during the Beecher Tornado. He married Carol Engstrom on November 12, 1955 in Flint. In 1988, he retired from Genesee County Road Commission as superintendent following 30 years of service. Raymond was an avid hunter, a member of Linden and Durand Sportsman Club, and Flint Bowman Club. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carol; son, Darrell (Susan) Lucus of Davison; grandsons, Lyle Lucus and Trevor Lucus; sister, Catherine Pillow of Burton; brother, Robert Lucus of Atlanta; several nieces and nephews.
