Reginald KIRT

KIRT, Reginald "Ray" John - age 96, of Swartz Creek, died Friday, April 25, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Pius X Catholic Church. Mr. Kirt was born November 15, 1917 in Flint, the son of John and Nettie (Coile) Kirt. He married Mildred Barber on October 12, 1940 and she preceded him in death on December 31, 2008. Mr. Kirt was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II from 1944 - 1946. He enjoyed a long career working for the U.S. Government with multiple self-contracting roles. Mr. Kirt was an avid tennis player and belonged to the Flint Tennis Club and Genesee Valley Tennis Club. Surviving are: son, Robert (Glenda) Kirt of Mt. Morris; two daughters, Denise Ketchmark of Swartz Creek and Nancy Mozingo of Grand Blanc; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; three sisters, Gertrude Jenma of AZ, Doris Williams of FL, Theresa (Jack) DuBerg of Swartz Creek.
