CLARK, Richard "Dick" W. - Age 74, of Grand Blanc, died Sunday, January 10, 2021. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held with interment in Davison Cemetery. Friends may view a live-stream of the service at 1 PM Friday, January 15, 2021 on his obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. A public Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date when all family and friends may attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Parkinson's Foundation, 30400 Telegraph Rd #150, Bingham Farms, MI 48025(www.parkinsonsmi.org/). Dick was born October 17, 1946 in Flint, the son of Earl Wesley and Virginia Arline (Peake) Clark. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve. Dick was employed by Richfield Industries for over 50 years and was the Vice President of Manufacturing. He also founded Steel Transportation Services in 1981. Dick married Beverly Stephens on February 6, 1988. He enjoyed boating, NASCAR, traveling and loved being surrounded by his family. Surviving are: wife of 33 years, Beverly; four children, Lori Tallman and husband, Terry Kendrick of Davison, Amy Valenti and husband, Thomas Valenti, Jr. of Shelby Twp., Jeffery Clark and wife, Laurie Lawlor-Clark of Grand Blanc, Robert Clark and wife Alicja of Orange County, CA; nine grandchildren, Colin Tallman and wife, Kenzie, Morgan Tallman, Beth Kendrick, Chandler Clark and fiancée, Alyson Senters, Cameryn Clark, Cayli Clark, Alexandria Valenti, Julia Valenti, and Tommy Valenti III; one great-grandchild, Braislynn Tallman; sister, Marjorie (and the late Wes) Jensen of Aurora, CO; brother, Donald Clark and wife, Grace of Texas; special nieces, Kristin Parker and husband, Larry of Sterling Heights, Julie Raikes and husband, Dan of Rochester Hills, Monica Jensen of Aurora, CO; many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; and nephew, Clark Jensen. Tributes may be shared atwww.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
