LINN Jr. Robert (Bob) B. - Age 94, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 26, 2020. Visitation will be held 3-7PM Monday, June 29 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Burial will be held in Walker Cemetery in Weiner, AR. Bob was born May 19, 1926 in Weiner, AR., the son of Robert B. and Jessie L. (James) Linn Sr. He grew up in rural Arkansas where he is known to his southern relatives as junior. Bob followed three of his brothers and enlisted in 1944 in WWII in the Army Air Corps. Following his discharge from WWII he re-enlisted in the National Guard numerous times. After the war, he moved to Flint, Michigan along with his mama, papa and four older brothers. Bob met the love of his life in Flint. He married Junia E. Beebe in Flint on July 7, 1947. After 65 1/2 years of marriage, June preceded Bob in death in December 2012. They were the parents of six children, Roger D. (Helen) of Davison, Teresa K. (Harry Gregory), Ronald W. (Michelle), Trina R. Linn Galbraith (Bobby Hunsaker) all of Flint, Randall L. (Laura) of Otisville and Toni R. Linn of Cheboygan. They were also the proud grandparents of Jennifer Linn, Jason Hooper, Cameron Linn, Jessica Linn Johnson, Aaron and Daniel Galbraith, Ashleigh and Kacey Linn, and two grandpups. They were the great-grandparents of fourteen and three great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was also survived by special family friends, Tina Smith and Jackie Winters. Bob was a 33rd degree Master Mason and became a Shriner. He worked for many years as a skilled trades electrician with General Motors. Bob was active in the U.A.W. serving as a Union steward with U.A.W. 598. He was a chairman of the skilled trades shop committee with General Motors. Bob was also a member of the IBEW Local 948. Bob and June started the Dairy Bell ice cream shop in 1970, which they operated for many years. They were also well known for putting in big gardens and selling hundreds of pumpkins in the fall. Bob also operated Linn Realty for many years and was both a salesperson and a broker at times. He owned and operated several Pennzoils for many years. Bob was preceded in death by his brothers, William Robert, Leroyce, James Ray and Charles Rudolph. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Shriner's Hospitals for children.
