Robert Mcgregor

McGregor, Robert Roy - Age 74, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, June 29, 2020. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Robert was born August 9, 1945 in Flint, the son of Rodney and Alice (Rounds) McGregor. He was a graduate of Glennie High School. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. He married Judy Marie Williams September 8, 1982 in Fenton. Robert retired from GM after 32 years of service. He had resided in Swartz Creek for the past 7 months coming from Mio where he resided for 20 years. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans in Grayling. He enjoyed woodworking, nature, wildlife, and spending time with his family. Surviving are: his wife, Judy; children, Dorothy (Dale) Holland of Burton, James Foster of Davison, Scott (Brandie) McGregor of Corunna, and Sandra (Michael); 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; sister, Alice June McGregor of Fenton; brother, Lynn McGregor of Hessel; and several nieces and nephews.
