Robert Schliter

Schliter, Robert Farrell - age 81, of Grand Blanc, passed away, Sunday, November 21, 2021. Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Holy Family 11804 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Fr. Leronio Vodivodi celebrant.   Visitation 9:30 AM until the time of Mass at the church on Tuesday December 7. Entombment will follow at 12:30 PM Tuesday December 7 at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.  In lieu of flower contributions can be made to Kindred Hospice, 4458 Oak Bridge Drive, Flint.

Robert was born October 2, 1940 in West Branch the son of Robert and Ella (O'Farrell) Schliter.  He was a graduate of West Branch High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Emmaleen Zettel on Oct 25, 1974 in Walled Lake.  They were happily married for 47 years. He retired from General Motors in 1991. He was a member of Holy Family Church.  Robert enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was an avid fan of NASCAR and baseball.

Surviving are: wife, Emmaleen; children, Tamara (Dave) Hoffman, Robert (Angie) Schliter, Teresa Tocco; sister, Sharon Rieger; step children, Kim (Dave) Remer, Timothy (Carol) Campbell, Linda Childress, Douglas (Dawn) Campbell, Josephine (Tom) Coulter; many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren;

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Terry and sister, Connie
