MIZIKOW, Ronald - age 78, of Grand Blanc, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Monday, April 23, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12-2 and 5-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a scripture service will be held at 5 PM. Visitation will also be held from 9:30 AM until the time of mass Monday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. John School. Mr. Mizikow was born April 23, 1933 in Flint, the son of Nicholas and Catherine (Bader) Mizikow. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army stationed in Germany from 1953-1956. Mr. Mizikow married Ingeborg Maul on April 2, 1955 in Landstuhl, Germany; He retired from General Motors in 1994 with over 30 years of service and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Surviving are: wife, Ingeborg of Grand Blanc; three children, Melinda Mizikow of Linden, Karin Parker of Clarkston, Ronald N. Mizikow and wife, Christine of New Hudson; six grandchildren, Reginald Horky II, Elisa (Dwayne) Noaker, Bland Parker II, Nicholas (Brittani), Brock and Aaron Mizikow; three great-grandchildren, Julian, Aria and Lydia Noaker.
