Sally Harwood

HARWOOD, Sally Ann - Age 82, of Linden, passed away May 28, 2023. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden (A live Stream of the service will be available on Sally's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Robbie Carnes officiating. Burial will follow in Argentine Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 2-8 PM.

Sally was born February 27, 1941 in Marinette, WI, the daughter of Albert and Ruth (Brunette) LaBlanc. She was a 1959 graduate of Marinette High School Marinette, WI. She married Richard "Dick" Harwood in April 12, 1960 in Flint; he preceded her in death in February 5, 1988.  She had resided in the Linden area since 1959.  Sally was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Fenton, the Linden Sportsmen Club and the Argentine Township Fire Department Auxiliary; she also was a police officer for the Argentine Township Police Department and a Argentine Township Election volunteer.

Surviving are: her children, Pamela Ann Harwood of Fenton, Kenneth (Michelle) Harwood of Durand and John (Rhonda) Harwood of Linden; 10 grandchildren, Natasha (Rob) Cook, Heidi (Matt) Miller, Kelly (Charlie) Haas, Roselee (Matt) Mason, Ashley (Eli) Auger, Deneice Senk, Matthew (Kaytlan) Harwood, Brian Harwood, Allen Harwood, and Hannah Harwood; 18 great grandchildren; siblings, Marie (Richard) Smith, Donna Harrison, Gary (Sandy) LaBlanc, Linda Slavens (Vicki Smith), Sandra (Mac) McDaniels, Barbara Smet, Beverly VanLanen, Kevin White and Duane White; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Heather Harwood; brothers, Donald, Thomas, Edward, Robert and James.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
