HUGHES, Sarah Jean - Age 62, of Redford, formerly of Linden, passed away September 23, 2022. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Wednesday and from 11AM until the time of service Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet of Fenton. Sarah was born June 10, 1960 in Flint, the daughter of Thomas Daniel and Lucy (Keene) Murdoch. She was  a 1978 graduate of Linden High School. She went on to attend Mott Community College and Baker College. Sarah owned and operated a childcare center for many years. She loved camping, fishing and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; children, Amanda (Roger) Willis, Tara (Jeff) Slack and Michael White; grandchildren, Dakota, Tyler, Mikayla, Zaden and Billy; brother, Tom Murdoch; nieces, Hannah and Kate; aunts, Peggy (Bob) Bloss and Pat (John) Marquardt.
