Sarah Wilcox

WILCOX, Sarah M. - age 87, of Fenton, passed away May 23, 2020. Private Funeral Services will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Dan Campbell will officiate.  Interment at Yerian Cemetery in Vernon. Sarah was born July 5, 1932 in Idamar, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Gerald and Mildred (Wigham) Brown. She was a graduate of Pontiac High School where she played cornet in the marching and concert bands. She married Ralph R. Wilcox on November 28, 1953 in Pontiac. Devoted to her family, she was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, Bible study, crochet, and cross stitch. She loved her husband, children, and grandchildren with all her heart. She taught her grandchildren music and the art of hospitality. She was active in her church and played piano and the organ for many years. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ralph; children, Susan (Gil), Colleen (Tim), and Paul; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
