Shonda Collins

COLLINS, Shonda Dianne (Griffen) - Age 47, of Perry, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 24, 2020. In accordance with Shonda's wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.

Shonda was born on July 4, 1973 in Howell, Michigan the daughter of Richard and Judy (Coggins) Griffen. She graduated from Fowlerville High School. Shonda and David Collins were united in marriage on June 28, 2003 in Perry, Michigan. She worked as a nurse for a private practice and at Sparrow Hospital. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and family. Shonda enjoyed candle making, and yard sales, looking for rustics items to furnish the house with like moose and stars. She will be greatly missed by many.

She is survived by her husband, David Collins; 2 children, Elli Collins and Thomas Costello; 4 step-children, Kayla Collins, Cassondra Collins, Joe Collins and David James Collins; 6 grandchildren, Brynlee, Gemma, Ryker, RJ, Hayden and Gracie; 2 sisters and brother, Bonnie Tuttle, Lou Anne Holbrook and Shane Holbrook; and several nieces and nephews.
