Terry Sauers

Terry Lewis Sauers of Flushing, MI born October 12, 1953, in Muskegon, MI to Lewis and June (Anderson) Sauers, went home to God surrounded by his wife and daughters on Saturday, September 25, 2021. Terry married Pamela Louise Tuck on July 14, 1973. They had 4 daughters: Christina Sauers, of Flushing Jennifer (Shane) Rogers of Emory TX, Viki (Mike) Taylor of Unionville, MI, Terrilynn (Shawn) McCoy of Dike, TX. 11 grandchildren: Brian Sauers, Elizabeth, Cassandra & Wyatt Rogers, Dakota & Nevada Turner, Cody & Travis Taylor, Hayden, Mason & Lauren McCoy. 5 Great-granddaughters, Mia, Violet, Layla, Lexi and Jean. His siblings: Kathleen (Dewaine) Sherman of Columbia, TN, Pamela (Russell) Velet of Scottville, MI, Michael (Dawn) Sauers of Flint, MI, Tina (Steve) Toth of Linden, MI. His Uncle Donald (Lori) Anderson of Allegan, MI and Aunt Jan Morelli of Paris, TN and numerous nieces and nephews.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, mother & brother Joe. Terry worked at General Motors, Flint Tool and Die as a die maker retired in 2006, Truck driver until 2012, and owner of Mid-Michigan Pilot Car Group from 2012 to present. Terry was a helper to everyone and a lover of life and the outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating, ATV and ORV driving, camping, and traveling in general. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family or to Hopewell General Baptist Church. A Celebration of Terry's Life will take place at 2:00 PM on Tuesday September 28, 2021 at Hopewell Baptist General Church located at 5162 N. Belsay Rd, Flint, MI 48506. Fellowship with family and friends will be 1:00 PM until the service time at the church. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
