Thomas Downs

Thomas "Tom" Milton Downs, 70, passed away on May 17, 2023, in Fenton, Michigan. Born on November 10, 1952, in Monroe Michigan, Tom was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend.

Tom was a millwright at Local 1102 and took great pride in his work. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his craft.

In his free time, Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, antiquing, gardening, cooking, landscaping, and classic cars. He was a man of many interests and always had a story to share.

Tom will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his ability to make anyone laugh. He was a jokester at heart but could also be tough as nails when the situation called for it. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Tom is survived by his daughter, Danielle Braun, and granddaughter, Dakota Braun. He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Hallen Downs, brother, Franklin Downs, sister, Susan Downs-Brooks, and sister, Brenda Downs.

Tom will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on June 6th from 11-2 at WaldenWoods in Howell, MI.
