Walter Dalrymple Sr.

DALRYMPLE, Walter James, Sr. - Age 58, of Flint Township, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road,  Swartz Creek.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to the Old Newsboys of Flint, 6255 Taylor Dr., Flint, MI 48507.

Walt was born October 22, 1964 in Flint, the son of Leland Glenn and Carole Leigh (McCoon) Dalrymple.  He was a 1982 graduate of Carman High School.  He had resided in the Flint area his entire life.  Walt was employed by Fick Excavating as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver.  He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #4217 in Hale.  He enjoyed duck and deer hunting, shooting skeet and spending time with his family up north.

Surviving are: his fiancee', Dawn Hampton of Flint; son, Walter James Dalrymple, Jr. (Kierstyn Muma) of Flint; grandchildren, Nevaeh, Walter III, Braeden, Ava, Dylan and Abigail; 4 step children; 7 step grandchildren; brother, Leland (Brandie) Dalrymple of Genesee; nieces, Elizabeth and Emma Dalrymple.
