William Blake

Blake, William John - Age 90, of Fenton, died March 20, 2020 at his home. Services will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to the Camp Civitan, C/o Director Cheryl Van Vliet, 1576 Walnut Ridge Circle, Canton, MI 48187. William was born September 13, 1929 in Buffalo, NY. He was married to JoAnn Setlock in 1950 in South Buffalo. Mr. Blake was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1949-1951. He was the Marketing Director for The American Sheep Industry, retiring in 2000. Mr. Blake was a member of the Knights of Columbus, where he had served as Grand Knight and was a member of The Lake Shannon Sportsmen's Club. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn; children, Susan (Cole) Grandy, Sandra Blake, Nancy (Mark) Andersen, Cindy Blake, John Blake, Kim (Gary) Weak, David (Charlotte) Blake, Dennis (Deborah) Blake; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and a great great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret; sons, Kenneth and James.
