William "Rick" Richards Jr.

RICHARDS, William W. "Rick" Jr. - age 76, of Flushing, passed away, May 22,2020, unexpectedly. Private family services will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Rd. Chapel 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to the Michigan Heart Association.

Rick was born January 25, 1944 in Flint, the son of William W. and Enid P. (Hallitt) Richards. He married Sharon M. Nieman in Flint on July 5, 1969. Rick graduated from Flint Central High School and later, U of M Flint. He proudly served in the U..S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Rick was employed as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep for many years with Aventis Pharmaceuticals. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Flushing. Rick was an avid golfer. He especially loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by: wife, Sharon M.; children, Ryan (Sarah) Richards of Colorado, and Kellie (Eric) Elliott of South Carolina; grandchildren, Sydney, Maya, Adam, and Kyle; sister, Lynn (Jim) Shaw.
